How To Approach Life With An Open Heart

Spiritual teachers have always pointed to the heart as the seat of consciousness, and recently Western science has found evidence to support this realization. It turns out that the heart has its own central nervous system and is not simply under the rule of the brain as formerly believed. Anyone who has taken the time to explore the heart knows this and, more important, has realized that the heart is the source of our connection to a consciousness greater than the ego.

Approaching life with an open heart means that we have opened the door to this greater consciousness, taking up residence alongside it in the seat of our soul. Fortunately, at this time there is a lot of support for this shift energetically as well as practically. To some degree, approaching life with an open heart is as simple as shifting your attention onto your heart.

You may feel tenderness or sadness in your heart, and you may also feel relief. Any emotions that arise can be effectively witnessed and healed through the meditation process, which benefits both your physical heart and your energetic heart. Eventually you will be able do this any time, any place, but at first it may help to try it in a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Simply sit with your eyes closed and draw your breath into your heart. As your breath expands your chest cavity, your heart expands and opens.

The more you practice, the more you will find your heart opening to your own presence and to all the situations your life brings.

This process asks us to practice some of the heart’s greatest lessons-patience, compassion, and unconditional love. When we open our hearts, they may feel tender and vulnerable, which simply means that they need our loving attention as we cleanse and heal them of past hurts and blockages. On the other hand, we may take up residence as effortlessly as a bird returns to its nest. Either way, approaching life with an open heart simply means returning to our true home.

The Only Worldview That Promises Hope

We’ve all got a worldview. Worldviews are formed by presuppositions, upbringing, culture, education, media, films and even video console games. Worldviews are not always formed purposely; they might be soaked up by osmosis from the culture around us. Many would lack the ability to defend what they think concerning the meaning and point of life; their worldview is a mesh mash of their experiences and the influences around them. From another standpoint, the Bible worldview is a learned and based primarily on what Scripture teaches, and is the only worldview that promises hope . It relies on these 7 truths:

- God exists (Heb. 11:6)
- The Bible is God?s divinely inspired Word (2 Tim. 3:16)
- God made everything that exists (Gen.1:1)
- God holds everything together (Col. 1:17)
- God came to earth and lived in the human body of Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago (Col. 1:19).
- In the Garden of Eden Mankind chose to rebel against God and due to that act of rebellion, sin and death entered the world (Rom. 5:12-14).
- Believing in Jesus Christ is the sole way to have eternal life or to be brought back together ?with Almighty God (John 3:15-19, 5:24), (Luke 8:21, John 3:20, John 14:21, 23-24), (Acts 4:10-12).

God Exists

Whether Gods exists or not in the mind of somebody is the base for every other propositions that compose a world view. If there is not any God in somebody’s mind, the random choice or natural selection theory of Darwin is the sole other alternative. Since natural selection gets rid of any higher authority with no one to be responsible to, then there are no absolutes, no morals, nor any wrong or right and nothing truly matters, so only incomprehensible and despair.

A Biblical world view relies on the proof that God is real, and the proof of his presence can be seen all around us:

- In the complexity of earth?s self sustaining design; perfect in every way to meets life?s wants with the perfect size and supporting functions of the moon.
- In the universe. The universe had to have a beginning. Who started it and who sustains it with an unwavering set of laws?
- In the human body: The DNA code informs, programs a cell’s behaviour with laws that are undeniable perfect.
- In his revelation within us: He pursues us and creates Devine information inside us of his existence. We are innately beings of worship, regardless of whether it is God we choose to worship.
- In his son: More than any alternative way God exposed himself thru his son Jesus Christ.

The Bible is God?s divinely galvanized Word to humankind

All scripture is given by inspiration of Almighty God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2 Tim. 3:16)

In 1,000s of years the Bible still has to be proved wrong. Yes, there have been occasions when science or historians presented reasons which explain why the Bible could not be true scientifically or historically, but their reasons have been proved to be wrong in time. Below are a few articles that are on my otobefree.com website under the heading of Bible on the navagational bar that give the reasons why we all know the Bible is the word of God:

- Introduction
- Bible and Science
- Bible and Histor
- Bible and Prophecy
- Bible and Unity
- Bible and Power

God made all things

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Gen.1:1)

?For by him [Christ] all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, apparent and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (Col. 1:17)

There are 2 hypotheses for creation: creationism as indicated by Gen 1:1 and Col. 1:17, and random selection. Both must be accepted by faith because there aren’t any human witnesses for either. There are 2 issues. With creationism there are many who won’t accept the concept of a. Supernatural being with omnipotent powers to form a universe and all that it contains. With evolution it is the problem of accepting something that goes against all reason or logic, but since it is the only alternative apart from accepting God, many say they accept it whether or not they actually do or not. With the modern day advances in science many scientists do not accept evolution, but neither do they accept creationism. I suspect you could say they are kind of in limbo.

Even when a scientific law, the second law of thermodynamics, which proves that things left to themselves do not improve but denigrate, folks still are of the opinion that things do improve through genetic mutations and develop from lower forms to higher forms. However , Science can’t explain how there are specific precise, incontrovertible laws which control everything in the universe, including the human body, when it might be simpler to expect random selection to also be randomly changing without any strict patterns.

God holds everything together

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (Col. 1:17)

We know that all mater is made of atoms. Atoms are made up of a nucleus and electrons that swirl around the nucleus at great speeds. Though ideas have been presented as regards what holds these atoms together, it’s a mystery.

Sir Isaac Newton was 24 years of age when he discovered that all bodies of matter possess a mutual attraction, what we call gravity that makes things fall downward rather than up. That also keeps us from flying off the earth which is spinning thru space at a speed of nearly 67,000 mph.

In Colossians 1:16-17 we are told that Christ is the gravity that holds things together, For by him [Christ] all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, apparent and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He’s before all things, and in him all things hold together.

It is reasonably fantastic that Christ is the power behind the universe which he made, and the power we call gravity, or whatever mystery it is, that holds things together!

God exposed himself to us when he came to earth as Jesus Christ

For God was happy to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace thru his blood, shed on the cross . (Colossians 1:19-20)

Sin and death entered the world because Humankind selected to rebel against God

Death Through Adam, Life Thru Christ:

Therefore , just as sin entered the world thru one man, and death thru sin, and in this manner death came to all folk, because all sinned.

To be absolutely certain, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there’s no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over people who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come . (Romans 5:12-14)

According to Scripture believing in Jesus Christ is the sole way to have eternal life or to have a relationship with God.

Neither is there deliverance in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved . (Acts 4:12)

Really truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. (John 5:24)

Jesus asserted, I’m the way, the truth, and the life, and no person cometh to the Father but by me. (John 14:6)

For with the heart man believeth unto goodness; and with the mouth confession is formed unto salvation. (Romans 10:10)

If you would like to kick off a relationship with Our Lord God now, your are able to.

The decision is solely yours. There is not any duress. But if you’ve got a desire to have a relationship with God and receive his forgiveness and guarantee of eternal life, you can do that at the moment today. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door [of your heart] and knock. He who hears my voice and opens the door, I’ll come into him [or her]“ (Rev. 3:20). If this is your wish but do not know how to word your request, this may help:

“Jesus, I believe you died for my sins and rose from the grave. I would like to turn from my life of sin and receive your forgiveness. Please come into my life now and pardon me. Thank you for saving me. Amen.”

When God comes into a person?s life it is permanent. Jesus Christ expounded, “I know them, and they follow me; and I give them eternal life,. And they shall never perish, and nobody shall snatch them out of my hand.”

I’m so thankful and blessed by your decision to get Jesus. I want to help you in your new found relationship with him. Please click the link below to point out you have prayed the prayer above and I’ll send you some material which I think you will find to be really helpful1

I just prayed and asked Jesus into my life (Please send me some helpful information) …

Yoga or Journaling Can Help Clear Your Mind

Make sure you spend time each day clearing the energies in your mind. This can be done through writing, meditation, or yoga.

The stresses of each day such as the stories, words, images, and even songs from all outside and inside sources continue to play in our heads for hours after we have seen them. Lying in bed, we often have countless thoughts, making it difficult to rest due to trying to process all of this noise from our days. This can leave us feeling unsettled and harassed. It also makes it difficult to take in any new information or inspiration.

Our minds need clearing just like a crystal, a space, or an office. This needs to be done so new ideas, information, and inspiration can come about.

Too often, the activities we choose to help us relax only add to the clutter. Watching television, seeing a movie, reading a book, or talking to a friend all involve taking in more information. In order to really clear our minds, we need a break from mental stimulation. Activities like yoga, dancing, or taking a long walk help to draw our attention to our bodies, slowing our mental activity enough that our minds begin to settle. Deep breathing is an even simpler way to draw attention away from our mental activities. Once we are mentally relaxed, we can begin the process of clearing our minds. Most of us instinctively know what allows our minds to relax and release any unnecessary clutter. It may be meditation or time spent staring at the stars. Whatever it is, these exercises feel like a cool, cleansing bath for the brain and leave our minds feeling clear and open.

Our minds will begin to settle with less effort the more we practice. Ultimately, the practice of clearing our minds allows us to be increasingly more open so that we can perceive the world as the fresh offering it is, free of yesterday’s mental clutter.Setting aside time to clear our minds once a day creates a ritual that becomes second nature over time.

Holding onto regret is like dragging the weight of the past with us everywhere we go.

Clinging to regret is the same as keeping a dead weight on you.

We know that something new and beautiful can grow in its place if we only prepare the soil and plant the right seeds. We also know that we create our lives from our thoughts, so dwelling on the past may actually recreate a situation in our lives where we are forced to make the choice again and again. We can choose to move on right now by applying what we have learned to the present and perhaps even sharing with others, transforming the energy into something that is constructive and creative for ourselves and others.

Forgiveness is the soothing balm that can heal regret. In meditation, we can imagine discussing the issue with the self of our past and offering our forgiveness for the choice. In return, we can ask for our selves’ forgiveness for keeping them locked in that space of judgment for so long.

We may also want to ask forgiveness from anyone else who may have been affected and perhaps offer our forgiveness. Release your former self with a hug and bring the forgiveness and love back with you to the present. Since we are usually our harshest critics, it is amazing how powerfully healing it can be to offer ourselves love. Learning to love yourself is the greatest gift one can give. It’s pure divine love.

This action frees our energy to create the dreams we dream for the future. By taking responsibility and action in the present, we can release our hold on the past. Keeping our minds and our energy fully in the present allows us to fuel our physical and emotional healing and well-being today.

Understanding All Sides

When we take a look at our lives, we often times only see it from one direction. Most of us tend to favor that one direction over other people. We may always look at things emotionally instead of rationally, or from a financial perspective, or we mostly think in terms of small things rather than the bigger picture.

Usually this is not a huge problem. These views add color to many of our personalities. Yet, they can keep us in the view of always being one-sided and not see many other ways of looking at the scope of what is happening.

It is worth exploring the other sides, even when we have decided that we are most happy when we only focus on one side in particular. When we do explore other sides, it makes us more understanding, patient, and well-rounded. As well, more solid in our own.

Perhaps you are a person who tends to see your life in terms of your spiritual well-being. As a result, other concerns such as financial comfort or social standing may not be prominent in your mind as you make decisions. However, taking just a moment to consider those angles will help you in several ways. One, it will enable you to see more clearly what your priorities are and how they influence your life situation. Two, it will enhance your sense of confidence, because you will see your situation from all sides, even as you choose one. And three, it will help you communicate with others about who you are and what you are doing, because you will come from a place of understanding that your own biases and tendencies are unique as are theirs.

Most of us instinctively come at things from a particular angle, and in many cases this is the right way for us. Still, understanding the other angles only strengthens us. When we look at our lives from all sides, we shed light on the big picture, giving ourselves access to many points of view and highlighting more clearly the one we have chosen to take.

How To Be As Good As Your Word

The universe accepts all promises you make as energetic vows taken seriously.

Those who keep their promises are regarded as people of integrity, while those who don’t keep their promises are regarded as people who at best can’t be taken seriously and at worst can’t be trusted. People have been making promises and keeping them or not keeping them, ever since they learned how to do this.

Sometimes we forget how powerful our words are, and we use them haphazardly or unconsciously, creating expectations that are never fulfilled, leaving disappointment and distrust in our wake.

An early heartache may have been followed by a promise never to trust love again. Without realizing it, we may be fulfilling that promise and wondering why our love life looks so grim. At an even deeper level, many people who recall past lives become aware that they made a promise lifetimes ago that they are still keeping. On an even deeper level, there are promises we may have made to ourselves that we don’t remember because they have slipped into our unconscious. For example, a vow of poverty taken in a lifetime as a monk may be holding someone back from fulfilling his earning potential now. Upon realizing that we have made a promise we no longer wish to be beholden to, we can perform a ritual of requesting release from that bond. In doing so, we clear ourselves of outmoded connections and patterns, returning ourselves to a clean slate. Then we can resolve to remember that our word is sacred and to be very conscious of any promises we make to ourselves or to others.

We may ask to be released from any promises made to ourselves or others in our present, past, or future lives, consciously or unconsciously, that are holding us back from fulfilling our greatest good. We may ask that love, light, and healing be sent to any souls who have suffered from our inability to be true to our word, including ourselves. We can ask for the wisdom to do our best and from this point forward to be true to our word, promising only what we truly intend to deliver. The resulting clear conscience and liberated energy will illustrate this truth: We are only as good as our word.
