Spiritual Housecleaning Part 1

‘Spiritual house-cleaning’ is the process of freedom from demonic oppression. When we are examining ourselves find bad habits, bad fruit, evidence of unrepentant sin and we begin to cry out earnestly with desire to not only overcome, but to change at all costs doors of access begin to shut. Deliverance begins to happen. When I began down this path of deep self examination I realized that I had issues. In reading the Word of God and comparing my Walk along-side of it… things werent adding up. I found myself identifying oh–too–well, with Saint Pauls lament in Romans 7:15, For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.. . . …continued at: hearinggod.tv Additional Links: ‘Strongmen Listed in the Bible’: youtu.be www.newwineonline.com Another guide, prayers etc. on the subject can be found at my site under ‘clean up your act’: www.hearinggod.tv

Only Christianity is True Part 3 - Romans 5:20-21

In part three of a series out of Romans 5:20-21 titled; “Only Christianity is True,” pastor JD tackles the topic of God’s game changing and life changing grace.

How to Cast Out Demons from Christians (Part One)

Demonic doctrines have infiltrated Christianity. In the American church, Satan moves in darkness and most Christians don’t believe they can have demons in them (not possessed). In other cultures around the world, demons are worshiped openly and possession is a way of life. I will provide Biblical proof that Christian demonization is a reality. This series will be a comprehensive step by step instruction on how to cast out demons. I give honor to Don Dickerman and his amazing ministry team who have delivered more than 25000 Christians from demons. This teaching is not theory but has been put into practice by me and others. People are physically, emotionally and spiritually healed instantly. They experience fruit of freedom long after the deliverance. If you are a child of the King but are addicted, depressed or diseased, be encouraged, your freedom is near! God bless you! www.dondickerman.net

What Is Grace?

The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance defines grace or favor as the following. From chairo; graciousness (as gratifying), of manner or act (abstract or concrete; literal, figurative or spiritual; especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; including gratitude) acceptable, benefit, favour, gift, grace(- ious), joy, liberality, pleasure, thank(-s, -worthy).

Basically it is the Divine influence upon the heart and it’s reflection in our life. Meaning it is given upon us by God to lead, give, or make a way for us to him. It’s power must be evident in our lives to be validated. Grace not only enables salvation, it motivates us to Godly living along with a generous outlook upon others.

It is by it we receive spiritual gifts and spiritual empowering. The favor of God is without limits. A person can reject or neglect it on a personal level. Unfortunately, some say we are saved by it alone. An example of this would be to simply quote this scripture. This again is the taking of a few scriptures out of context, rather than applying the whole word of God.

“For by grace are ye saved.” Instead of quoting the whole verse with it’s true meaning or intention. And here it is. Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. No doubt that nobody can come to God except by the means of grace. Not one person could dispute that fact. Yet, it only enables or permits an approach to God. And our faith must bridge the gap to God, (that was made for or given to us, by grace) through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Here is a story that best summarizes grace, faith, and works up that I can think of.

If I were to inform you that tomorrow at the CitiBank on Clark Street in Houston, Texas that there was a check worth one million dollars, waiting just for you. And all that you had to do was show up at 12 PM, sign for it, and then cash it using the name of Jesus Christ, would you do it? The grace factor is my offer to you with no strings attached. It is yours for the taking.

The faith and works factor is your willingness to believe, thereby acting upon the offer given to you. Now do you really believe me? That depends on what you did. If you really believed you would have obeyed or went there, and done it. That is a simplified explanation of these principles. My prayer is that God has blessed you tremendously by reading this.

How To Overcome Temptation

What is spiritual warfare? Spiritual warfare is a battle for our souls. It is also the struggle for power, either by demons attempting to ensnare and oppress men and women, or the spirits of God setting them free.

This war affects nations, groups of people, families and individuals. Luke 17:20-21 states, “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”

What it means is the after our baptism by belief, like Jesus, we receive the kingdom of God within us or what is commonly called the Holy Ghost and Comforter. We receive what the world (which remains in sin) cannot neither see, touch, nor hear.

Also our enemies are invisible. Because one cannot see, hear, or touch the enemy, many people want do not believe there is one. Like it or not, and believe it or not, Satan’s armies are on active duty twenty-four hours a day whether you and I believe it or not. So let us face some realities.

There really are demons who are active attacking mankind and especially the saints in every conceivable way. Jesus warns us all about Satan in the book of John.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Satan (who is a thief and liar, in fact the father of lies) works in a very specific way. He has a set plan as it works very effectively.

When we look carefully then we will realize his wicked plans at work all around us. His first strategy mentioned here is to steal. What would the Devil like to steal? Anything and everything that will lead you to Jesus. Satan’s greatest hope is to steal the word of God that it should not enter into your heart and life. Secondly, the Devil will attempt to kill you both physically and spiritually. Job was spared but the Devil was allowed to kill his many children.

This was in the hope that he could break down Job, causing him to sin. Yet Job remained steadfast or faithful to God. Thirdly, Satan loves to destroy your walk with God. Peter was sifted like wheat. (Basically, after his third denial of Christ and then his viewing of him, he felt ashamed and unworthy of the Lord. Perhaps Satan also wanted him to commit suicide as he convinced Judas Iscariot to do as thus killing him as well).

In other words, the Devil wanted to break him down or apart. But his faith was restored, accordingly as Jesus prayed for it to be so. Besides these strategies Satan is continually accusing man to fellow man, to God, and to himself.

What can we do then? Ephesians 6:10-18 reports that we all need to put on the spiritual armor coupled by prayer in Jesus’ name (In fact all things must be accompanied with that name that’s above all names, Colossians 3:17) to gain the victory. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

In doing so, after our intial baptism by belief in his name, we can claim the promises of Christ Jesus. Romans 8:31-37 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. A man once faced a million man army that was attacking him and it was defeated by his humble reliance upon God. 2 Chronicles 14:11-12 And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude.

O LORD, thou art our God; let no man prevail against thee. So the LORD smote the Ethiopians before Asa, and before Judah; and the Ethiopians fled. No matter what the problem is, God has an answer of peace for us when we trust in him. You and I must face the realities of what we must do to be overcome sin this world. One of those realities is that we must resist the devil, and he will flee from us.

If and when you discover that you are engaged in spiritual warfare, the solution is simple. Satan simply has no options when God’s people act against him in the name of Jesus Christ.

When you invoke the name of Jesus against Satan, he must be bound. Satan’s powers cannot overcome the power of Jesus Christ. Jesus overcame all the world, the flesh and the devil. So can we when we look to him.

Nothing Satan can do against a true believer in Jesus Christ will have a permanent or everlasting bad effect. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
